Upskilling volunteers to support the provision of community meals

Culinary experts from Compass Group UK and Ireland (UKI) are educating volunteers in kitchens which connect communities, reducing loneliness and food poverty.

Working with thousands of volunteers and surplus food, FoodCycle feeds the hungry and gives company to the lonely in local communities; providing delicious meals, great conversation and using food which would otherwise go to waste.

Colleagues from our Compass Group UK&I culinary teams, with expertise in food preparation, nutrition and food safety are upskilling and educating these volunteers in kitchens across various locations.​
